Default Plus Size Swimwear for the curvy gal

I am considering going swimming for the first time in 3 years and I need to buy a swim suit. Can anyone recommend something that is stylish and as flattering as bathers can possibly be. I'm probably most self conscious about my butt and thighs.

Torrid has nice ones. Another place to look if you like a little more coverage is "Motherhood" the maternity store. My youngest "baby" is 6, but I still check out the swimsuits they have because they always have the ones that cover your upper thighs and they go up to 3x.

I've been shopping online for swimsuits for a couple of years now. If you know your size, it's probably the easiest way to do your shopping, because the malls (ones by me, at least) don't have the greatest selection of plus-size swimwear.

Check out this site: Swimsuits <-- they have a really good selection with lots (hundreds!) of customer reviews, so you know exactly how the suit will fit.

You know I remember back in the day before my "woman" self grew, and I hating this time of year because I could never find a top that would fit the little itty bittys that I had, now I need to hate it more for the bigger than bitties that I have. Its a never ending circle, and I will be sure to check out both places too.

I love shopping plus size bathing suit at Bikini Sunshine and Modcloth. Let me show you the bathing suit I bought last weekend. My Mom choose this for me because I just can't decide which one best fits for my body.

I love that suite ChubbyMia. It's very 1950's pinup stylish, which is still very popular in the pinup community. Those suits are perfect for a curvy girl's shape!

I recently bought 2 swim suits at this website.

http://www.alwaysforme.com/

I am a lover of Torrid, but its pretty pricey, but at this website i was able to find some cheaper suits that were probably cuter than torrids. My swimsuit fits like a glove, i got a ton of compliments on it, check it out, you just may find something you like.

If you've got some money to splash around, Monif C have some pretty amazing suits - http://www.monifc.com/plus-size-swimwear.html

Also there are some cute bikinis and monokinis (I NEVER thought I'd see a monokini for plus sizes!) at this shop on etsy - http://www.etsy.com/shop/ByRoDesigns

I don't know about specific stores, but the tip I have is to look for a tankini. I love the fact that I can mix and match. Generally with one piece suits I find ones that are great for my upper but don't cover my lower well enough, or the other I like the way they fit on my bum and thighs but they don't have enough support for my top.
